Lowered 240 with stock torque rods 200


In theory, the trick torque rods are needed to set pinion angle on a lowered car. In practice, I ran my V8 (below) with IPD lowering springs and stock rubber-bushed rods well over 100,000 miles with no ill effects such as shudder on acceleration, etc.

True, the rear of the body was offset about 1/4" to the right with the stock track rod—but it was not obvious to the eye.
