Hi there,
Timing belt: First be sure the cam is turning. Look through the oil filler port.
If so, then check for spark by pulling a spark plug wire and placing its end almost touching one of the three nuts on the top of the strut tower. Or use a spare plug grounded at the same place.
No spark? Look at OBD codes, especially at pin 6. This should tell you if the crank sensor failed. 111, but smell fuel when you pull a plug or at the tail pipe? Suspect ignition power stage.
Spark OK, but still no start? Connect a jumper between fuse 4 and fuse 6. Both pumps will (should) run. See if it starts now.
Still no start? Disconnect the AMM and try again.
