You might think I'm nuts, but I'm seeking advice on heavy day after day driving 200 1992

this goes to the category forewarned.
when i use to commute into nyc some years back from rural connecticut, not as long as yours, but much more stop go, i always installed a low coolant level sensor in the overflow tank for the just in case.

with your high speed commute you would have much less time to react if the unexpected occurred.
