Location of 25 Amp FI fuse? 92 240 200

Bentley and others say the fuse should be on the drivers' inner fender well, near the battery, but all I have there are the two silver relays and the junction box.
Nothing nearby that looks like a fuse/fuse holder. Were there any alternate locations for this fuse?

Replaced by fuse 6 with the rest of the fuses by the driver's knee. If memory serves this happened starting in '91, and I think things are different again for the late '93s, where there is a fuse under the hood again...

    Good luck!

      Herb is correct 200

Herb is correct, the 1990 is the last year. Early 90's have it (mine), very late 90's don't.

However didn't realize the later 93's had it under the hood too.

I believe that a 92 240 would use the fusebox mounted on the positive terminal of the battery itself. Its a small rectangular black plastic box with I think five fuses in it. I know the 93 used them, I think the 92 did as well. I snagged a fusebox from one to use on my 242 but haven't done anything since then.

Nothing remotely resembling a fusebox ever existed on or near the battery on my '92 245.

Smitty, that didn't appear until very late production 93. I vote Oleseahorse our resident expert and documentor of that one of several 1993 model peculiarities. It looks nothing like the blade fuse from 1990, and from what I've seen of it, nothing you really want either.
