Hello -
The instrument cluster I got for my 1993 940 happened to have the ambient outside air temp display, so I'm thinking about adding the sensor.
But Google & eBay searches haven't turned one up.

Any of you good folks have, or know where I can buy, the sender. I believe it plugs into an existing connector under the bumper.

many 850s have the same sender, or 960. few 940 have them.
i have a used one if you cant find any. 6.00$ shipped.

Dear GACyclops,

May this find you well. The Volvo Part, #1347010, costs about $30.

It installs at end of a harness, on the driver's side of the car, just above and to the right of the air dam (North American models). If memory serves, there is a plastic plug in the end of the connector, that has to be removed, so that the sensor can be installed.

If you have a local junkyard then head there & look for late 940's & any 960's. The sensor snaps into place below the left side of the front bumper. What would they charge ? A dollar ? Install that & then you've got the NORDIC package, yea baby !

I looked all over the air dam & front bumper and can't see anything that looks like a place to plug the sensor in ...
but in the bottom left (driver) corner of the intake eggcrate grill in the airdam there's a round hole recessed into a square opening ... is this the place where the harness & sensor attach?
