Front Fog light installation 200

Greetings:
First, I would be curious as to what headlight upgrades you have performed. Most folks upgrading to Euro lights seem pretty pleased. If you have an h-4 based headlight and need more, there is a H-4 70/75W bulb upgrade that does not burn the wires or eyeballs. Some folks have upgraded to HID, a simple task, although widely frowned upon on this board due to possible glare. Others have made the minor change to use a 9005/9007? can't remember which (instead of 9004), utilizing a different filament alignment and ten very valuable low beam watts.Others use a relay setup to gain those few extra but very useful watts. There is a $25 replacement plastic lens to swap with the old discolored plastic one, and of course a thorough cleaning of the plastic lens already there is possible. If you go with auxilary lights, perhaps the best is the Hella XL, no longer available but fog light sized. Bosch and Hella and Cibie /Marchal are great but perhaps $100 a set. Much of the low cost discount store stuff is junk in the low beam variant. Hella do make an chinese optilux by hella, that may be ok because Hella make it. It is much harder to make an auxilary low beam or fog light than a simple spot beam. What this country needs, besides a good 5 cent cigar, is a 55w low, 60w high beam 9004. The original 45w low sealed beam halogens were upgraded to 55w and display a significant, economical improvement. Nobody has bothered w/ 9004 upgrades because the bulb is obsolete and not worth the paperwork.
