940/960 trunk height adjustment 900

I replaced the left rear speaker in my 1994 944T today. While I had the back seat and rear shelf out, I adjusted the left side of the trunk, which sat about 1/4" too high. The bolt for the trunk hinge is an eccentric bolt, with 12mm head. The nut is 13mm. Loosen the nut, and turn the bolt until the height of the trunk matches the body.

I had to replace the trunk lid on my son's 940. The design is ingenious. It's ease of access is not.

The upper back seat on the 900 series is a lot of trouble to pull.
