Strange slap against gear shifter in reverse...AUTO tranny 91 240...Please Help!

Hello,
When driving my 240, auto trans, in reverse, I've got a strange slapping or tapping against the shifter. This has slowly gotten worse and I have no clue what it could be...bushing..linkage...etc..IT feels like something is tapping the gear shifter?

The car shifter feels fine when going in any forward gear...it's just when going in reverse that it happens.
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just an off the cuff thought. Trani Mount is shot causing the shifter to come closer to the sheetmetal
