I am fairly certain this has not been covered in a previous post and is not directly answered in the 900 FAQ. Regarding cruise control I think the reason mine is not working is because one of the wires in the stalk is broken. I'm new to fixing this stuff myself(trying to save some money) so can some one please tell me the color of the wire responsible for cruise control in the stalk? The one that is broken is solid blue. I cannot make heads or tails of the wiring diagram so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Mine had two broken wires in the stalk. I don't remeber what color, but I reconnected them and the cruise worked again. I suggest you reconnect the broken wire and see what happens. You don't really need to know anything about it except that blue goes to blue.

There is a whole harness controlling the cruise control inside the stalk: about five wires. You really need the Green Book OEM wiring diagram from Volvo. The blue wire going into the connector looks like it controls the end-of-stalk set button.
