If you go the salvage yard route, make sure to take note of the number in white on the face of your speedo--it'll begin with a 'k' or an 'r' followed by 4-5 digits. This apparently is integral to speedo compatibility even within model years, and if they aren't the same they won't work.

I wonder why I know this... :)
