The Service light at the far left of the cluster does not mean the same as the Check Engine light toward the center of the dash.
The service engine light comes after a predetermined numer of kilometers. It is a reminder to change the oil or perform other engine/vehicle maintenence items. It lights up upon start up then turns off after two minutes or so.
It is reset by pushing in the little button at the lower right corner of the instrument cluster. It needs to move about 1/2 inch so push with something stiff and strong.
Regarding the 144 code. The loads placed on the engine from sitting in drive or with the AC on should not affect engine RPM which should stay at 750 when stopped and idling. Since the 144 is from the ignition Control unit and not the fuel system computer, how the EZK gets its info about load from the fuel ECU is unknown to me.
Put the test plug in socket six and pull up to three codes (if any) from the Fuel ECU. Same counts as you used to pul the 144 code form socket 2. Those may point to an fuel or engine issue that does not affect emissions.
