Hello,

We had the exact same problem with Facel Vega III.

It turned out to be a master cylinder problem.

Previous to our tenure as the cars mechanics, the owner had the master cylinder rebuilt.

Apparently nobody told the rebuilder that the car had disc brakes and that it should not have a check valve in the master cylinder.
