AC Fuel Pump Repair. 444-544

Here is a photo of the B18 and B16 (foreground) AC fuel pumps... the photo is a little deceptive as there is more 'slack' in the B16 pump arm. I measure the effective angle between the pumps at around 10 to 12 degrees instead of the 'apparent' 27 in the photo.
You can change the "arm" or follower and use a "pump lever" type on a B18, the pivot points are the same as are the internal features. I have one that I use on my '68 B18b!

Most "lever" pumps (that I have seen) have the H type holder for the valves, a much better system than pressed or staked (IMHO). The few I have seen without the H clip I had assumed were early - perhaps they were the very late ones?

Cheers!
