Hard to start if not started every 2 days 200 1983

Sounds like your fuel system is not remaining pressurized because of a faulty check valve in your fuel line. Before trying to start it the next time it has sat for 2 or more days, try removing the gas line as it goes into the fuel rail or after the fuel pressure regulator and see if any gas squirts out. If not suspect a bad check valve. It is located on the main pump under the car behind the driver seat.
