Here's the wiring diagram excerpt for the foglights out of the 1970 greenbook. Don't know if it's the same for your 1972, but probably so.



13 starter motor
18 dipper relay for main and dipped beams and headlight flasher
50 Light switch
71 foglights
72 fusebox for foglights
73 relay for foglights
74 switch for foglights
