Yes, there are two platic lever/tab thingies that you must press from the back of the seat. You can feel them thru the seatback vinyl. With both tabs depressed, yank the headrest up. Unless you enjoy taking a headrest in the jaw, have a friend press the tabs while you pull the headrest upwards.
