89 240 has rusted control arm. Is it worth saving? 200 1989

Absolutely you can replace the control arm. And if you are going to keep driving the car, you should do so as soon as possible. I'd replace the bushings though. At least the rears.

If that is the worst of your problems definitely keep it on the road.

I don't know you or your spouse so this is nothing personal against her, but that sort of attitude is why a lot of 240's have gone to the scrap heap well ahead of their time.
