See how close in diameter an aluminium beer/soda can is. It may be slightly larger but you can snip perpendicular cuts every 1/2 inch around the circumference so it can be reduced. Then use the foil tape used for HVAC to connect the portion of the can to the pipe and the airbox. Duct tape doesn't hold up under heat, spring for the foil.
