that was the call I got today.
My wife started the car and went back inside to finish getting the kids ready, went back out and it was not running.
hmmm OK, started right back up and she went on her way. It died again 1/2 mile later. Started up again. She just went back home.
This evening I pulled the fuel pump relay... it was a KAE aftermarket brand that I had proactively replaced 3 years ago.
THe solder had cracked on one of the termials. RE-flowed it and we are back on the road.
*****This in itself is not news to anyone, just sayin that the KAE aftermarket relay only lasted 3 years / 60,000 miles.*******
I'm going to buy a spare and keep it in the glove box.
