Dear sniperman,

Hope you're well. When powered seats fail to move - and the tracks are clear of obstructions - it usually is because the drive cable has worn to the point, where it no longer engages the motor or the drive gear. The seat motors seem to be quite durable. See the FAQs for how to adjust the cable. Doing this fix requires seat removal.

So far as I know, seats from any 940 or 960 will be bolt-in compatible. The electrical connectors may differ.
