Caliper work

When you go to start your caliper work, you'll find the master disconnects itself with its reservoir if you just depress the brake pedal about 1-2", or just enough to turn on the brake lights. Blocking the pedal obviates the need to use plastic wrap or other methods to keep the reservoir from emptying at the disconnected caliper lines.

Also, 5 lbs. is indeed plenty, unless your hydraulics are in really bad soupy shape, I guess. Never could understand why people talk about resorting to pedal bleeding or 20 lbs. of pressure unless they have mud in their lines.

The advantage of this bottle is its reservoir of fluid allows you to concentrate on getting the bubbles out at the bleeder screws without getting panicked over where the fluid level is in the master's rez.
