240 No Start 200 1988

Yes, possible. The power can be low enough to look OK with lights and radio but fail to energize the starter. 75% of the time the battery is just dead and needs replacement. Dan is right though, you need to pull the brush pack off the back of the alternator (two machine screws) and have a look at that.
