Dear Adirondacker,

Hope you're well. The stub axle nut is 36mm in diameter. This nut is a one-use item: it is to be replaced, not re-used. It should be torqued to 74 pound/feet and then 45 degree angle-tightened.

If memory serves, the front wheel bearing is part of the hub: the bearing is not separately replaceable.
