Where does these lines go? 200 1991

Hey!

I was just out messing with my car and saw something that don't seem right. Under the brake booster there is 4 maybe 5 lines/tubes going along the firewall and continues down under the car. If I stand on the driverside looking down one of the tubes , I think it's green, is connected to nothing, just a hole. Doesn't seem right to me. What's going on?
