If it's truly dry under there, you have an outstanding car, heh..

My only thought is the trans cooler leaking internally, into the coolant in the rad, but it usually works the other way, coolant under pressure and all. The expansion rate and trans temp/level thing can be kinda tricky too. If you have an IR thermometer (cheap these days), you might shoot the pan or case before each test to see if the temp/level is toying with you.
