air bags in rear coils 900 1994

Yes, they are extraordinarily effective for load carrying.

I originally installed them just to level the load when my family and I went on vacations. 2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog, and a week's worth of supplies and provisions. The back of the car would sag seriously. The air shocks eliminated the problem.

Later that summer, we borrowed a pop-up camper for a weekend rafting trip. We had a bunch of people and a caravan of cars. I volunteered my brick as the designated mule. I had the pop-up camper with a tongue weight of about 300 lbs. The rear seats were folded down, and the car was packed to the ceiling with coolers, food, gear, and a bunch of firewood. With the original shocks, this load would have had the tires literally rubbing on the wheel wells. With the Monroe air shocks, the rear didn't even sag!

To say I'm happy with the result is an understatement.
