'90 Regina Car: Cranks, Fires, Idles, Dies 700

Make sure the MAP sensor is really sensing vacuum level - no carcks in the hose, the port into the intake isn't clogged, etc. If the MAP doesn't "feel" the actual level of vacuum, it will think the driver has the pedal to the metal and overly-richen up the mixture.

Also check the TPS functionality. Does the "click" heard at throttle plate closing (idle position) actually result in a change in continuity between two of the plug contacts. Likewise with the click at full throttle. Is there any possibility the plug could have gotten forced on to the switch backwards so that the "idle" and "full throttle" signals are being swapped? It seems unlikely that the plug could be rotated and then forced on, but stranger things have happened.
