Early 90's 740 turbo 700 1993

To my knowledge 7 series ended in 92, while 9 series began in 91. So a 93 would be a 940. Part of my own list is, 90 740, (hit and gone) 91 745 (current) 92 745 (current) 93 940T (current) 95 940 (sold)
Most who do a lot with these, such as rebuild, hotrod, etc, say that the squirter block is on all 93 models. I have never heard anyone say their 93 did Not have squirters. A few have claimed that they existed on earlier models, and someone on TB says he has seen at least 10 92 motors with squirters.
As he is one of the most involved and respected Volvo performance people probably in the country, I'll take his word for it.
I can say that the castings are not a sure sign; apparently the castings were incorporated as early as 90, but the actual parts weren't in use til later.
However, it is possible to drill and install squirters in a block if the castings are present. They do seem to make the engines quieter and longer lasting.
