AMM or Fuel Filter 200

That's fine, just make sure you take care of the new one. As I was told, if you have a pre-heat hose on the exhaust manifold that's intact, be sure your Air Box Thermostat functions properly. You can test it by heating it up with a hair drier and seeing if that flap closes shut. If it doesn't, then that should be replaced. Keep your air box filter clean, and if you are using a K&N or other kind of fancy rechargeable filter, make sure that is properly cleaned, dried and oiled (but not too much) I think the AMM's failure has a lot to do with things around that area not being properly sealed. Such as clamps, that mounting bolt, and the air box itself should be properly sealed as well, meaning there should be no over-hang around the top of the air box. The housing to the air box should fit completely inside the air box housing, and it's a tight fit that most people will over look. Moisture is your enemy. Make sure the belly pan is on, and take extra precaution when cleaning your engine. Also, if it's working, then don't clean it too much. Just let it be. If you clean any other parts that might affect the AMM, then be sure everything is super dry and always be aware of that wire. I know The AMM gets carbonized and dirty, but don't sweat it too much. that wire is pretty delicate compared to the rest of the car. Also, if it "fails" again quickly, then you might need to look elsewhere. Good luck!
