There's a jackscrew that allows the alternator to be folded back toward the engine. The block the jackscrew turns in is attached to the alternator with a bolt and nut. Use a 13mm socket to loosen that bolt before attempting to turn the long jackscrew, or it will break, and then you'll need to find that part. Lots of lube!!
