I always ask the mechanic (if I go to one) to 'show me' what the problem is.
At this high dollar repair cost I would get a second opinion.

FCP Groton has all the parts you mentioned for under $500.00.

Seems like the mechanic wants to make $1,100.00 for a few
hours of labor.

Where did all the honest mechanics go?
Maybe they are in the trunks of the missing 240 turbos.
