No, the plastic pipe did not come out easy. I had to use a can of carb cleaner with one of those little red spray straws. I directed the spray around the base of where the plastic pipe entered the engine block and inserted a homemade red-neck oil separator tube puller. I have illustrated it below. I hope this helps.
