what are my options for replacing a donut tire spare 200

My solution was to buy an extra full-size steel rim at the junkyard and have a new full-size (but non-directional) tire fitted. Full size wheel and tire fits just fine in the spare tire wells of 240, 740, 940.

These folks have new steel wheels for the 240 for a very reasonable price, if a trip to the junkyard isn't convenient:
