Seems odd, Change the exhaust and get a rich running car. You say you went through the obvious O2 sensor since that's the only fuel related part of the exhaust .
Unrelated to exhaust change might be Fuel Pressure regulator. Pulloff front hose of regulator and check for wetness in that hose. When the Regulator's diaghram fails it dumps fuel into that forward hose that sends it into the Intake manifold. Causing a rich condition. That forward hose should be dry and almost Gas Fume free.
