1988 240 electrical question 200 1988

My 88 has died from 1) water leak thru wiper grommet that actually filled up the fuel pump relay case with water (!) and 2) corroded 25A blade fuse holder in the engine compartment.

Get yourself a waterproof fuse holder from a local boat supply place (or ipd if necessary) and you'll be glad you did.

Some sealant around the wiper shaft will solve the leak. Secure the new fuel pump relay upright so any water that does leak can't get into the relay case.
