I have no earthly idea what might be wrong. I do, however, have a couple of greenbooks which cover the B27/28 engine and the K-jet system as applied to it. They are 1976-1983, so not the latest editions of those books, but they should be adequate for a 1982 model. They're yours if you want them, I'll never need them. Just tell me an address and I'll pop them in the mail.
