Or you could go redneck...

Sedan plus a nice pick-up bed trailer. When you need to haul supplies, hook it up. Then you could still take the camper when you need it.

More realistically, a 4 x 8 utility trailer of sufficient weight rating would work better.

Keep the whole shebang under 3300#'s and be sure to get at least surge brake on the trailer.
