cabin air poor quality 200 1988

All good suggestions in prior posts. Indications are that the heater valve has failed. Would you recognize the odor of hot anti-freeze? A failed heater core will leave a sickly-sweet odor in the air and, sometimes, a mist on the inside of the windows. This is actually a toxic situation and would need to be remedied quite soon. Getting to those parts on this model is the source of many groans and grimaces.
