All B18 and B20 distributors will bolt in.

But obviously they are set up differently with different advance curves and with different internals like points and condensers.

Some distributors are vacuum advance, but most have vacuum retard and some are have mechanical advance mechanisms.

As to your electronic ignition, the red wire needs positive switched power and the black wire goes to the coil trigger post.

The complication with these installations is the red wire needs power while the engine is being started and the switched fuses in the fuse box will looses power when in the start position.

You have at least 2 options when installing an electronic ignition while using the one piece coil and ignition switch.

If you are lucky, and you have a replaced starter motor with an updated starter solenoid.

On the later solenoids, there is a pole on provides power only when the starter motor is being engaged.

If you do not have the updated starter solenoid, you can use a diode connected to the starter trigger wire to provide power when starting.
