After a recent throttle body cleaning, I had a high idle (1500 rpm). I removed the throttle body (again) and adjusted the throttle position sensor (TPS). It's a zen exercise; the click is subtle but you hear it if held close to your ear. The FAQs have good instruction for setting it, c. .015-045 with a feeler gauge held against the mechanical stop. Now the 945 is purring at 600 rpm, a bit low for idle. It's tuned and ready for the run to Florida tomorrow.
Your problem is a low idle. Still, getting the TPS properly set is a good baseline, and may resolve the issue.
