- Get under the car and see where the trans is leaking
- Pinion seal at rear axle?
- Trans whine usu varies w/ gear - it drops on upshift
- Carrier bearing whine is more common and varies w/ road speed and worsens as temp drops.
- If it is carrier it can be greased and wil last a little while eg. the 75K miles on a friend's car since I did his
