Pulling out a dent (fender) 200 1989

That's fine. I just fixed one around there - maybe a little forward of yours - for a friend.

I pulled the inner fender cover (plastic, 3-bolts, one push-in. I put a 6"x6" piece of 3/8ths plywood flat on the inside, centered on the dent, pushed a 2x4 behind it, and pried out. It popped back into place and I pushed the chrome strip back on.

In this case the dent is gone to the naked eye. Other times the dent has popped back and left wrinkles.

I popped-out 2 other dents in the same car via a similar method: spread the force via plywood and pry.
