MTC Shift Knob (M46/M47) 200 1989

A similar question was posted awhile back. I don't remember the poster, but as I remember it, the guy had purchased an aftermarket (unknown as to who made it)m-46 shift knob. His complaint was that the knob was too loose. Several recommendations were forwarded:
1. Buy an original knob (getting more difficult to do)
2. Wrap the top of the shift-shaft with a wrap or two of aluminum tape and then tap the knob on with a rubber mallet.
