lucid is correct, only thing i stress is any coil can pass a resistance test and still be dead. once you determine through testing what's wrong, use a spark tester to see what the coil output is. THAT'S the pass/fail test for a coil. but, i think you'll find another problem and not the coil. good luck, chuck.
