spark test / weak spark? 200 1983

the last part of your post is confusing, if you have no spark, then test that way. if you have weak spark, then it's likely a bad coil. the book is clear.

the spark you should see in daylight will be blue-electric blue. but, that's why i use a spark tester-

set it at 25k and keep moving up until the spark is yellow or gone. if it's yellow at 25k, the coil's weak. good luck, chuck.
