Looking at a 245, want some feedback 200 1986

Don't take this the wrong way. Old Volvos can be very long lived and "cheap" to own...if...you know something about Old Volvos AND do your own work...or are willing to learn.

Having to pay a mechanic to fix an Old Volvo can become an expensive and frustrating experience. You are buying a 26 year old car, simple to work on , but several generations behind the experience of your average 30 Year old mechanic--as to the Quirks of the Volvo 240 line.

When buying a used 240...remember to ask yourself....if this 240 is such a bulletproof easy to work-on cheap to maintain lasts forever car....

Then why is this guy selling it.
