Owch! You've spent a lot of money on this!

Here are some cheap things to try.

I would test the coolant temp. sensor. It is a possibility for this symptom. Is the check engine light on? If so, check the fault codes. The code for a problem with the coolant temp sensor is 1-2-3.

Another idea would be to clean the throttle body. Occasionally these become gummed up and cause weird idle conditions to ensue.

The idle air valve could be at fault as well. To clean it, remove it, spray some solvent into it, and shake the dickens out of it.
