As Art said, an 89 240 in Middleburg should not have a choke light. So, where did the car come from, and it is carbureted? I would like to believe that somebody did not change the cluster in order to pass a safety inspection, but...

You didn't buy the car from a Turbobricks forum regular, did you? That might explain it.
