Any problems with installing TWO front main oil seals? 200 1980

One of the reasons for the depth of the bore is so that the seal can be installed facing
an unworn/undamaged place on the shaft or sleeve.
Since the seal's job is to seal in oil, they don't last long if run dry.
Therefore, I would install ONE seal in the right place and count on it to do the job.
