Front Suspension/Ball Joint Replacement Difficulty 200

Sway bars are not a wear item and should not be replaced unless you are upgrading to thicker bars such as those IPD sells. Installing a thicker bar on only one end of the car or the other is not an issue as long as you are aware that steering response will change. It is best to avoid a very stiff rear bar and a thin front bar. Do some searching for more info.

Bushings require one of two things: a hydraulic press, or a lot of ingenuity and spare crap hanging around. I was able to press out all of my bushings using a very large vise and a lot of different sockets, pieces of steel pipe, etc. At times, I had to nearly upend the vise with a long cheater bar to create enough force to break those bushings out. Not for the faint of heart, or the novice, but don't let me dissuade you; know your own limits and capabilities.
